All Right here is the deal, I have had my 240 for almost 3 years, one of which was sitting in my shop waiting for a rebuild/ new engine. Well about a year ago I put in a used KA myself so I know the car pretty damn well. I will be getting my enlistment bonus finally in about a month or two of 4 g's. I know this has been asked about a million times with people who have big dreams, but after lurking for almost 3 years on these forums I am finally able to afford what I have been wanting I don't know what I want. Ultimately I want a car that is quick, looks good, performs good, and is generally cool. I am sure that helps being as that is what everyone wants. So basically I don't want anything faddish, just cool. I was thinking maybe an engine swap and some cool wheels. What would you do?

Do the KA24DE swap, get rebuild kit (though maybe not in that order), coilovers, turbo... and with the left over money maybe get a touchup paint job and body repair, so your car looka flashy.

Well i would go mild on the outside, like nice clean rims, simple drop, and paint job....and blow the rest on engine. Maybe in the form of a turbo kit for the KA.

Really now? It must be a Canadian model then--not surprising seeing where you live though. How do you know it has a factory LSD?

Well not exactly sure if its the factory one, but I bought it from the second owner who was a lady in her 30's. Everything else is stock except the stereo and stuff that I did. It has just about every option except the factory spoilers and the alloy wheels. I can't think of why any one would put an lsd in it when it was just used for commuting and also driven in the winter. I like all the dual tire marks I have all over my county.

I turned a SH*TTY '90 hatchback into what it is now for a little over 5 g's... You just have to look out for deals and remember your budget/quality ratio.

omg - what mod keeps letting this guy talk. he sounds like he's 10 years old. we don't want to hear BS stories about cars you wish you had and scenario's you've seen in movies and wish you could live. get a life

tell me...have you completed bpu on the vr-4, what are the upgrades that fall in the bpu category, and oh...pics (preferably with you in or around the said vr-4) are required. Else you've just lost all credibility. Oh and tell me, are you using the stock y-pipe? Hows that aws doing for you? Any active aero problems? Active exhaust problems? ECS troubling you? Or do you even know what that is?BS man, just plain BS.

pics of your rb powered 240 (again, with you in them) would suit you well too.

You guys have no idea, I never said anything 'cuz it was so funny but someone had to go and call him out after this one I guess...was probly about time.

Homedude sent me an email describing his car, seeing if he could be in the newest "racing team" on the NICO scene. I was in tears...I'll see if I still have it later.

Edit: I kinda feel bad for the kid though. Dude, just be yourself--there's no need to lie to be cool. A bunch of us have crappy cars and we're quite proud of it. Bragging about stuff you don't know about, much less have, just makes you look like a tool. =\ Don't flip out and leave, just have a good laugh at yourself and hang around. :)

What do you like to do/want your car to do best or maybe a all around kinda thing??

If it was my money i would not spend it on a bodykit. Put it in the motor and a set of 16 or 17s,coilovers and repanit it to look better Baam done

Too back up blake, I have a non running S13 that I'm in love with, of course my coupe that sitting in my backyard getting picked apart, and my pos 3000GT. I'm proud of what I have, don't have to make up some huge story about who and what I've beaten and what my cars setups are. Frankly right now I couldn't care less about performance, I'm just trying to get them to run correctly.

Being cool is about your personality, who you are...not what you have.

dang...i feel kinda bad for the kid. But yeah, ghetto, just be yourself, everyone will like you better. Nobody likes a poser. Doesnt matter if you have a skyline or a scooter, just as long as your real about it. So like seva said, just have a good chuckle about it and still chill around, we dont mind the company.
