hey everyone,

kind of a dumb question but i've been thinking about this since the first day i heard fnf 4 was coming out. since the previous movie tokyo drift seemed to have a big effect on raising the drift tax of 240's, i was wondering if we will be affected by the fnf4 movie as well.

the movie was definately a big hit, and there were 240's in there but i don't know if it was in it long enough to make any impact...however, i've seen the value of the drift tax go up since i first bought my car a little more than 2 years ago. i heard it increased the popularity in the new sti but since this movie wasn't really about drifting i'm guessing it didn't really have any significant affect.

i'm wondering this because i might sell my car in may...so if i can get a little boost from hollywood, sure why not? so what's your input? i would like to see some real time examples too if possible...(not the idiot that's asking 40g's for a crappy swapped 2jz hatch )

...my input...

Did it increase value? No.

Did it increase demand? Maybe.

We all know that there is the "drift tax" already imposed. But i guess it's safe to finally use the "OMG this car was in a movie tax" now muahahahahaha.....hehehe

There's no way that someone can give you a serious answer, at least here on this forum. It would require a good amount of data from multiple sources.

QFT!.

The 14-1x year olds who went to see the movie will now want a tuner car.I doubt this movie increased the demand as much Tokyo drift did, because tokyo drift was all about RWD drifting, and the SX is the perfect place to start. This movie was just Tuning in general.
