i think he was showing that the rotor (on the ford) was absolutely worn uot----gone!!!

ding ding...you got it!

it really is the left rear rotor remnant on a G50Q--not a ford, not a maxima.(picture is mistakenly marked as an explorer, but we know better).

i guess that proves the pad backing of steel is harder than the cast iron rotor.

how could the guy NOT know?????

yep its definitley a G50..... I dont know HOW the owners would deal with the noise.. i let my pads get that bad once (for like a week) and it was unbearable.

I was thinking those almost have to be the original pads (factory installed) in order to wear them down.... Man, talk about the "fingernails across the chalkboard" sound EVERY time you came to a stop.
