I dunno what all of the enthusiasts will think about this but I'm overhaulin my 94' Ranger and I plan on swaping an rb25Det into it. Yes lots of work, customizing, and time but I'm up for all of that

I need someplace where i can get all the info i could want and need to know about it preferably in one place.

I've scowered the internet and come up with nothing but obvious things...

Any suggestions? -sorry to sound stupid but, -thanks, Blake

the reason why you haven't found any information on swapping a RB into a ranger is that it hasn't been done... Or it hasen't been documented because IF anyone has done it, it's probably just one person.

Either way, you'll need to do the obvious things such as:

Fit the motor custom fab mounts.

Modify oil pan if required or other components such as crossmember or sway bar to clear.

Shifter hole and shifter will need to be figured out.

Custom driveshaft from RB25 transmission to ranger rear end, fitted.

Radiator hoses, intercooler pipes, heater hoses all need to be figured out.

Wiring harness conversion in fusing the 2 harnesses together.

Get your meters to read the premeters from the engine.

And all the misc stuff you'll run into when doing a hybrid type swap like this.

Hey man about the ranger swap.

I know that all the modification to fit stuff will need to be figured out. Thats not gunna be a problem at all.

I was just looking for a GREAT place to find info on the motor itself, not the swap.

But as for the truck itself I'm going to bag it, paint it and do this swap so... lots of plans for this little pickup lol.
