I show the old specs for those reasons, take it with a grain of salt, same thing for the 350Z fitment)

However given the fact that they use a spring stiffness that’s over 100% stiffer then oem, if ride quality is of concern, either hitch a ride in a car equipped with them or make a different choice. In addition, several review’s have been done by people actually having the original more softly sprung Tein Flex coilovers do not take their comments to mean the same as the one using the current product, the original product specs are listed below under Tein Flex JDM.

More specifically their valving will impact the performance they can deliver. And to add, revalving them is extremely expensive if you find they are too soft for you. HKS LS 350z (Monotube construction, non adjustable dampners)Spring rates 448/448Special Note: A comfort ride system, note higher rear spring rate vs. G35 application
HKS II (Monotube construction, adjustable dampners)Spring rates 504/504Special Note: sprung and valved to be HKS’s most aggressive product for the G35/350Z, it is a notch above the RS coil over on the track, compare to Tein Flex and Jic coilovers. May be very tuff to get, said to have been removed from the USDM HKS catalog and is now JDM only, or so I’ve heard.
HKS RS (Monotube construction, adjustable dampning)Spring rates 448/448Special Note: “Marketed” as HKS’s track coil over with a good street ride.$1600 when on sale Owner review's have a simular flavor as the Zeal coilover's below, they are very will liked.
Stance coilovers (Monotube, true coilover in rear, 15 way adjustable dampning, full height adjustableSpring rates 672/280**since rear springs are run on coilover body, they leverage 100% of the springs power to the rear wheel vs. 36% when the rear springs are run in the oem location. So to get the same rear spring power as if you were running the springs in the oem rear location you would have to run a 780lbs rear springs.CAUTION: Really good owner review's exist and at $1150 shipped they are a excellent value. But a number of owner's are experiencing issues with the lower shock mount bushing not being designed to carry the loads being asked of it since the oem setup was not designed to have the springs with the shocks. A new sperical bushing fix has been talked about, but hasn't been produced yet.

It still can be fixed, but would require a lot of phone calls and research that most won’t bother with, IMO it’s worth the bother.

Spring rates will not be a sensible choice for most and should be questioned very VERY hard.

Tokico D-spec twin tube 8 way double adjustable (bump and rebound) gas shocks 2 fitment's are sold DSP-7 for the G35 and DSP-9 for the 350Z.The only difference between the DSP-7 and 9 is that the rear shocks on the DSP-9 350Z fitment feature's shocks that have shorter shaft's (1" IIRC) The 2 fitment's are both valved the same. These shocks can be set from softer then oem G35 shock to stiffer then the oem 350Z shock, your choice depending on how you set them.$489
