series 2 rb25 red wire....

ok this may seem dumb, but i can NOT find a solid Red wire on the white ECU plug... i have been trying to follow the write ups on this site, and they all mention a RED from the RB connecting to the RED wire on the KA. As stated i cant find it . can some one pleaseeeeeeeee help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! a picture, an pin number, a confirmation its actually there... anything! hahaha this has been driving me completely insane!

Introduction of the KA power interface:
Start by removing the power interface from the KA engine harness. This section is easily identified by a Gray and a Red plug that plugs in behind the underhood fuse block.

Creation of the new dash interface:
from the RB dash plug needs to be connected to the Red wire “check engine light” on the S13 dash plug. This should complete your RB25DET/S13 wire harness conversion.

If the red wire in the dash is puzzling you it's really not that important it's the check engine light.

If it's the red plug you're looking for it's behind the passenger headlight.

The write ups say its a wire that has go do with the ignition think AF0N thing....

Check out that site find the pin on the ecu for (AF04 Ign Relay). The colors may not all be the same depending what year you have I heard. Some one correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm about to rewire my rb25 also and I've been doing some research with you haha ! Your absolutely sure the red wire your looking for isn't in the white dash harness plug It's a separate plug in the harness before the ECU plug.

I found this in the sticky should help theres pictures !! It's an rb20 write up but those are all the s13 wires including your ECCS Back Up AF04

These are all the wires functions in the various plugs.

S13 BROWN PLUG

SOLID/STRIPE

BLACK/PINK------------- FUEL PUMP
GREEN/ORANGE------- NEUTRAL SWITCH
BLACK/YELLOW------- IACV POWER
RED/ BLACK------------- ECU RELAY
BROWN------------------- 02 SENSOR
BROWN------------------- 02 SENSOR
PINK----------------------- N/A
YELLOW/GREEN------ N/A

S13 GREY OVAL PLUG

BLACK/RED(THICK)----------- MAIN IGNITION POWER
RED (MEDIUM)------------------ ECU BACKUP/CONSTANT POWER
BLACK/WHITE(MEDIUM)---- ECU POWER
BLUE/GREEN-------------------- AC RELAY
GREEN/YELLOW--------------- AC RELAY
BLACK---------------------------- GROUND
RED/BLUE----------------------- N/A

These are the brown and grey S13 plugs you need to use. They plug into the main fuse box on
the passenger side. Note the tape...i recommend marking all the wires that you will be using before doing
any wiring. Makes things very easy to navigate and the whole wiring process quicker in the end.

YELLOW/GREEN--------------- SPEED SIGNAL
ORANGE-------------------------- IGNITION START
BLUE/BLACK-------------------- WATER TEMP SENSOR

Well i think i found it. even in the diagram it says red, but i dont think it actually is red on the harness. ima check when i get home tonight.

This is what I used to wire up my car the first time I finally found it !! it tells you exactly where on the ECU you need to splice wires ( just incase the colors are off on your harness)
