Is it possible to use series one coil pack on a series 2 engine? It wasn't clear whether or not the ignitor chip was in ecu of the series 2 or in the coil pack itself

you can but you have to use an igniter, the igniter isnt in ecu its built in to the s2 coil packs. you will trash the ecu if you wire it in without it. take my word for it.

this should help just remember if you gonna use the rb's coils instead of the gm you have to wire the coils one for one, not 2 to one coil like the wasted spark setup
