the ikeya is the only i know of

where do you plan on racing this car tho? classing for a hybrid is nearly impossible if you are talking road racing.

I made a post on this a while back..

Ikeya is also the only company I know of that makes one. They're definitely appealing, but I really think it would be a waste of money unless you are hardcore racing and putting down serious power.. which I doubt.

I would choose the 5Zigen Sequetial Shifter Conversion over the Ikeya Formula. It has some kind of hydraulic cylinder to push the clutch for you when you shift, the Ikeya Formula shifter you still have to use the clutch.

THATS NOT A SEQUENTIAL SHIFTER.... ITS A SEMI-AUTO. IT HAS A TWIN CLUTCH SYSTEM THAT APPLIES CLUTCH PRESSURE WHILE SHIFTING, SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO. SEQUENTIAL SHIFTING REQUIRES ONLY A UP OR DOWN MOTION AND IT SEQUENTIALLY GOES THROUGH THE GEARS.

Just get a whole new transmission with sequential gears. A lot of money if you wanna do it the right way.

I think OS Giken makes a sequential transmission. In Austrailia and New Zealand they use Hollingers on the big HP drag skylines. But drag racing is gay IMO.

what do you consider a sequential transmission? i consider a sequential manual when you shift you don't have to apply the clutch, like toyota's smt or bmw's smg. you still shift manually, but you don't have to push the clutch. so i definitely think this is a sequential manual conversion. most of the transmission that you push down or up to shift is just automatic with a manual shifting program, i don't consider them sequential manual.

that system you can go into any gear at any time.... sequential you still have to use the clutch but you can only go up or down one gear at a time and in order. You have to go 1-2-3-4-5 or 5-4-3-2-1, you can't go 1-3-5 or 5-1
