Help. I'm looking to change my trans filter, flush the system and add a trans cooler on my 1995 J30. My question is what sequence should I use to successfully complete this task. I've done several searches reading about what others have done but i'm still stuck on what order. I'm looking at the B&M 70264 but its 1.5 inches thick, will that fit between the rad. and the condenser? Any guidance is appreciated.

Doesn't matter too much. Flush it first, then put on the new filter and cooler at the same time, and top off with more fluid when done. You'll use more fluid this way, but the filter won't get anyting in it from the flush. Pop the hood and measure the gap between the radiator and condenser.
