Meet Location: Beech Bend raceway798 Beech Bend rd.Bowling Green KY. 42101Phone # 270-781-7634Directions http://www.beechbend.com/directions.htm

Date: Sept. 6th 2003Time: 11:00am

Every one is welcome to come out and have fun. You do not have to race to have a great time. There is lots of room for you to show off your car and meet new people. We are planning to hang out and race most of the day, then move the meet location to a different location that will be announced soon. So weather you in it to see how fast your car can make it down the ¼ mile or just want to hang out and see some cool cars/people then this meet will be so fun.

There will be a pre-meet in Louisville KY. At 10:00 am for those who are interested in caravanning to BG with us. The last time we did this we had about 90 cars that did the caravan. There were people from several of the northern states that came to Louisville to make the trip with us. We will meet at the Mijers on Preston hwy right off the Gene Snyder freeway (265) which is the same location as several of our other pre-meets.

I suggest that if your area has several people who would be interested in the meet that you set up a pre-meet and caravan to Bowling Green.

Hotel information is soon to come also. For the last big Bowling Green meet we got everyone to stay at the same Hotel which was awesome. Some people came up/down Friday night and stayed through Sunday morning to before heading back home.

Questions can be answered here or E-mail me at [email protected]

EDIT: Beech Bend does not open till 5:00pm so we will meet at the Corvette Museum about 12:00 noon then plan on heading over to Beech Bend about 4:30pm or so.

I plan on being there. All the Tennessee people should meet up in Nashville or something and head up in a big group. That would be awsome. Or we could go strait up the 231 I live right off of it by I40, but We could meet at opry mills or somewhere with a large parking lot in the nashville area.

The caravan part of the large meets is almost my fav. part.Nothing like having a bunch of nice cars in the fast lane.Watching peoples faces as you go by is cool, and someone with us always has a video camera.;)

Count me in if I can get my 300ZX brake swap completed in time. I need everything for the front brakes so if anyone has calipers, rotors, for a decent price e-mail me please.

How is the hotel that everyone stayed in at the last big meet we had here in BG? I can't even remember what the name is, but I remember like which one it is. I could drive there and get some more info. Chris usually takes care of that stuff, but apparently he is out of town. I have no clue for how long or where he went, but I can stop by that hotel tomorrow and check out some group rates.

Hotel Info:

I think Baymont would be best....but if you guys want me to go check these rooms out personally it won't be a problem. These are all within sight of each other, so location is of no concern...only price and quality.

Baymont Inn & Suites165 Three Springs Rd, Bowling Green, KY Phone: (270) 843-3200[never been inside, but price is reasonable and is right next to Bob Evans and across from Waffle House...also has a nice parking lot and has to be nicer than Motel 6 for only about $10 more a night]

Drury Inn Bowling Green 3250 Scottsville Rd, Bowling Green, KY 42104 Phone: 270-842-7100[I've stayed here before....pretty nice, but more expensive..~$70 and is still across the street from Baymont and Motel 6..right next to Outback and the Travelodge]

Motel 6 3139 Scottsville Rd, Bowling Green, KY Phone: (270) 843-0140[didn't stay there, but this is where everyone stayed last time]

Travelodge Hotel & Conf Ctr 1000 Executive Way, Bowling Green, KY 42103 Phone: 270-781-6610[Has a bar inside....right next to the Drury and probably isn't too bad...but not real sure.]

Also!!!!!

About the meet location and time....Beech Bend does not open it's gates until 5 pm! If we are to meet at 11...I suggest the Corvette museum or one of the hotels.

It IS and WILL BE interesting....I need to find out about the dyno today and see if we can't get on it around 1-2 o'clock on Saturday....that will leave plenty of time to hit the track around 5.

Hey JeZteR!!!!....should we post the hotel info in a sticky at the top of NICO meets so people don't have to hunt for it? I'll try and stop by Baymont and check out the rooms.
