Trying to gauge interest in going out to IRP on Tuesday September 16th. I am trying to get the guys from NASIOC and IClub to come out there as well. Would be nice to see the Nissan guys show up.

$10 to race and $7 to watch.

Carlos,You can feel free to stay at my place if needed. The gates open at 4:30 and they run until 10pm. I would love to see your car out at IRP.

I may try to make an appearance up there. It gives me an excuse to hang out in Indy and hopefully with better track conditions up there I could hit my damn 14s like I had wanted to Saturday. I think the problem with Saturday was that I couldn't get everything right in the same run ahh well more seat time will deem more consistent times quicker than 15.2s :oface

I think you'll find that IRP will offer better traction than Beech Bend. It is a very well maintained facility. If you want seat time, my best advice is to show up early. Later in the evening it gets pretty crowded.

If some of you guys are going to come, we need to establish a time and place to meet because it is a large area. I don't want anyone to come in from out of town and not be able to make a link up. That would be a ****ty experience.

You Central Indiana guys missed a good night at IRP. To my knowlege I was the only NICO guy at the track. Passed out plenty of cards and talked a bit. There was a 89 S-13 with a redtop SR motor and FMIC. He was in the low 14's halfway through the night. There was also a bigbird yellow 300ZX there with a Supra style wing.

The Subaru guys were out in force. We had a wide array of modified WRX's and an STi. The STi was in the High 12's.

IRP will run amatuer nights until late October. Anyone that wants to get out there, just let me know.

I was there too... I was one of the first ones there, but I left early around, 8:00. I ran twice got a 16.4 and a 16.3 . My friend said the announcer called my car a honda when I was racing. :( .I didn't see very many other nissans there, I must have missed the 240sx, but I did see the 300zx(I always see him around anyways, he must live close to me.), and a guy with a brand new maxima. and a saw a bunch of people with subarus there I take it you were one of them:confused: , cause I didn't see any altimas.

Oh yea remember the white civic that had to be towed off the track, I lost to him earlier that night... that was when the announcer said it was a Honda vs. Honda race.

Did you see the Viper GTS that stalled on the track and had to be towed off?

I think I remember that about the announcer. The announcer had some guy there helping him recongnize what cars were getting ready to run. The announcer asked what kind of car yours was and the guy didnt know. I think the announcer taged your car as a honda. Blasphemy!

Sorry I didn't make it up there but I wasn't aware it was during the week :oface cause I have to work doh.

I wouldn't mind making it up there in mid-October though. When are the Test and Tune nights at IRP?
