Hey, hows it going everyone?

I'm in the process of taking my z31 T3 apart and I've come to a standstill. I can't, for the life of me, get the exhaust housing off.

I was wondering what the best way to go about it is? Is it like the intake compressor housing where you rotate it a certain amount and pop it off? I tried that, with no avail, as it is pretty rusted. Is there any trick? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Also, how much shaft play is acceptable. There is a slight amount of play, yet the compressor wheel does not scrape the housing. Any advice here would be great as well.

BTW, here are some pics I took to illustrate how the exhaust housing is attached to the bearing case.

soak it with a penetrant, then tap it with a hammer.

PB Blaster the hell out of it. it'll come off. IIRC, you do need to rotate it a bit when taking it off. Mine came off fairly easily.
