Welcome to NICO!

If you replaced the coils, you need to check the wiring to the coil on the cylinder with the misfire. The 1320 sets when the ECU notices something messed up with the signal going to the coil pack.

If the wiring is good from the coil to the ECM, the ECM could be the culprit, which is not uncommon on our cars.

P1320 is the only code you have??

Yes there is a p0400 code and what is and where is the ecu or ECM . I have some old school knowledge of cars but the new stuff baffles me. If I can get my son through 2 more years in this car he will be out of college and maybe he can get him something nicer. Any help is greatly appreceated.

Check the passenger side engine compartment on the firewall. The ECM is the blood supply so to speak for your car.

Yeah, it's there, should be in a plastic housing, you'll see the wires running to it. The earlier B15 ECM's are prone to throwing codes that don't exist, it's usually an oxygen sensor code, but not always.
