so i went car shoping with my girlfriend last week, and we drove a 97 mazda protoge and a 95 sentra gxe, and she asked me what the difference was between the 2 cars (well it was more like "didnt we allready drive one of these?". i then realized that the interiors look almost exactly the same. (mind u they werent back to back, it was over a week) so, i dont know much about these cars yet, but it made me curious as to how these cars are related ?

Anyways, they're not related in any way except that they are Japanese. To my knowledge, Mazda and Nissan have never worked together (Mazda is 1/3 owned by Ford anyway, ew!).

They are similar because they are competitors, that's all.
