I have a 05 sentra 1.8s i saw this turbo kit online

Its the Turbo kit for for the 1.5 QG18 engine but 03 model. My first question; would this fit my 05 1.8 i believe it is the same engine, and if it fits are there any body mods i need to do, and what other mods do i need (besides Exhaust) to make this work, and besides the price of the Turbo and exhaust how much is this all gunna cost (ballpark figure)My final question is what kind of exhaust should i get, i dont think there are any bolt ons for the turbo application but im not sure so any advice? Please

Yes it will fit.

You'll need injectors, fuel pump, piggyback or stand-alone fuel management system, clutch, and $1k+ in labor. I'm assuming this comes with an exhaust manifold, all the intake/intercooler piping you'll need, and a BOV. The site doesn't say.

For exhaust you'd need to simply get a 3in catback, have a 3in downpipe made, and get a 3in high flow cat. I still suggest BRM.

That company offers a kit for a huge range of cars. I have to wonder about the fitment of the exhaust manifolds and whether the piping is all properly set up or just a "universal" kit. I've never seen anyone who actually installed one. There's probably a reason for that.

Very few 1.8's have been turbo'd successfully. It's an expensive process and not at all for the feint of heart.

thanks for the advice it was really healpfull, i guess i wont go with teh turbo yet for two reasons , one im only 16 so i dont really have a lot of cash, two my isurance says if i had any power adders like a turbo they consider it "high risk" and therefore they will make me pay them a lot of money which i dont have plus i was thinking and i dont think the stock auto trans will handle the extra hp

I wouldn't bother with an auto 1.8, honestly. It's a good a-to-b car, but there's not much else to it. Enjoy having a reliable, economical, practical car for now and save your cash for a project later.

right now i'm in the midst of preparing my turbo kit. i'm putting a kit together. i'll be runnin' gt28rbb on it. hopefully be done around july. i checked that kit out on prostreet and i was thinking a/b it but was kinda skeptical a/b it too. so i went ahead decided to put one together myself. i'll keep you guys posted on the project.
