Sentra SE-R transmission

Ok Folks, heres the Deal. I... My little bro has a 93 Nissan Sentra SE-R with the 2.0. I just got done spending a little over a 1000 in it last month for fuel and clucth problems. Now come to find out after comming out of the shop I need a whole new transmission!!! So the best that Stu at the shop could do is 9... something for a transmission with 85,000 miles installed and all out the door. The transmission is 500 something itself. Is there anyone out there in or close enough to FL that has a transmission for less, I can pick it up. Thanks. OHHH and in good running condition. Give me a holla at 904-571-4487.. Dawayne. Look around junkyards (a lot of them have online or phone inventory listings).

If you can find one, I'd suggest getting a 95-98 200SX SE-R or 98-99 Sentra SE-L transmission, or, better yet but more rare, a 2000-2001 Sentra SE transmission. They're more robust than the 91-94 units.

To add to that, 900+ for a used transmission installed is a raping. You can remove the transmission and replace it in like 2hrs at most.
