Hey guys I am trying to replace my rear pads and rotors. I haven't been in the B13 game long at all. The place I am trying to pick the parts up is asking me if it's ABS or non-ABS for the rotors. Also they have a bigger and smaller rotor size. They also asked if it was a JAP made or US made car. Dumb questions but;

-How can I tell if it's ABS or not without removing stuff?I told them I'm sure it wasn't because I almost hit a deer one time and the brakes locked right up.

-If my VIN starts in 1N4GB32 would that tell indicate anything?

I need the right set of rotors. Thanks for the help.

If you have ABS, you will have a cluster of sensors/lines on the passenger side of the engine bay by the power steering reservoir. If you don' see what I'm talking about, then more than likely you dont have ABS. On the rear rotors for a SE-R, you can use either abs or non abs rotors. You cars vin starts with a 1, which indicates it was US made. Parts store also list the rear rotors as 10", which isn't even an option for us made cars.

Check on the Cluster if it has the ABS light. (At the top between tach and spedo) If Not it will just be a blank oval shape and it wont say anything.
