Hello everyone, I'm not new to Nico, but I am new to this forum. I have a 94 convertible 240sx, but I wrecked it. I have a local guy who wants to sell me his 96 sentra. I just wanted to know a little info on it before i jump headfirst into a car i don't know anything about. 1. What engine comes stock in them? (from waht I hear it's a backwards transverse KA24DE)2. What kind of gas mileage am I lookin at N/A stock? (for now its stayin stock, after i finish my 240 it will become a project car SE-R swap)3. How many miles can I put on the stock engine before it dies? I know the KA's in the 240's will run for a good 200,000 miles as long as they aren't beaten on.4. any other info I need to know? common problems stuff like that.Thanks for all the help. What model sentra? That will determine if its even worth making it a Project SE-R, it it's not a SE-R.

Sounds like it's not an SE-R, so it has the GA16DE, probably get you 30mpg unless it's been beat up. Longevity is just as good as a KA, if not better.

GA->SR can be a pain, check the FAQ and see if it's something you'd want to do.
