Sentra/G20 Compatibility

Hi everyone,

New to the site, and new to Nissan/Infiniti culture. I just bought an 01 G20t and was wondering how compatible it is with a sentra. Will basically any engine parts for the sentra fit the g20?

Also wondering if anyone has suggestions on where to start tuning. I have to keep the car looking fairly stock for work but i'm gonna throw probably some 17s on it that still have a classy stock look to em. Any help on where to start as far as engine tuning and the best dollar per hp upgrades would be appreciated or just a link to a thread where these topics are already covered.

Hey Cory, welcome and good choice for a vehicle purchase. I have 2 P11s myself and they are great cars. Most engine parts interchange between SR20 Sentras and G20s. Your car has the newer roller rocker engine so the valvetrain is a bit different. The older style cams are not compatible with the rr engines.

As far as bang for the buck nothing beats a turbo setup in these cars. I used t25 kit from a DET will get you 190-240whp depending on boost level. The other option is N2O but I'm not an expert in that so I'll let someone else give you details on the spray.

As far as 17" wheels go the 04-06 SpecV stock wheels look really good. They can usually be had for a good price too. Go to G20.net to see some pics of how they look.

Engine and transmission parts for the 00-01 Sentra SE will fit.

Other than that the cars are different since the chassis are different.

As stated above, turbo is generally the cheapest way to horsepower, but it really depends on what your goals for the car are.

As far as the turbo goes, that is basically what I had in mind. Could you guys point me towards a site where I could pick up a decent bolt on kit?
