Well I just got my car back recently on Nov. 25, if I'm correct. Drove it off from the mechanic. Did not notice any smoking from the exhaust until the next day, the smoke smell like oil and exhausted. People kept telling me that my head is bad but I did not feel any lost of compression and the car ran fine for me and its still as strong as I first got it. Change the oil on Nov. 27, but I realized it was still dirty as before I change it. The car start to smoke once I start the car and continue to do so even after it get warm; everyone who drive behind me stay as far as they can from me until we hit a stop.
Could It be that the precat is the one that cause it? The butterfly valve is good but I still need to lactite them asap. I remember the mechanic was telling me he was starting the car up one day and a large popping noise was heard and the car would not start after warming up a little bit. Headers got a hole in it from the popping precat I suppose, so he welded the headers. The precat was bad and it clogged the second cat, utterly ruining them both so we had to gutted them. I never noticed a large oil consumption from my engine. Supposely from what I know my engine is still good at least that what I hoping for.
If anyone can give me some advice or info on this matter I gladly appreciate it
