Sentra CVT Noise

I just got my 2011 Nissan Sentra 2.0S. On my very first drive, I heard a very brief noise (a rattle or a click) on acceleration from a stop. Is this the CVT? I've never had a car with this type of transmission before. The noise happens so quick, at first, I thought I was hearing things. But then I heard it again the next time i took off from a stop. It seems to disappear after the car gets warmed up.

I'd really like to know if this is normal, or if I already need to go back to the dealership.

Looks like it isn't the CVT noise. It appears the first time you accelerate after startup, not only does it trigger the doors to lock, but the ABS turns itself on. The latter is the source of my "noise".

yup, definitely bring it back to the dealership. How long have you had the car?

Anything under 3 months in service gets serious attention.

Yep,
The "clickty-click" noise from my '09 Sentra with the CVT is the ABS system setting or resetting itself. It usually only happens when I back out out of the driveway and shift into 'Drive' in the morning.

Yeah... you can't bring it back and complain about the noise????????????????????? Are they calling it "normal"??????????????????????????????????

I run my 08 2.0S hard anytime i drive, i hear the click too mostly in brakin n decel. I was told it was cvt downshifting, by dealer askin a tech. 50/50 shot this helps
