Sentra and SE-R exhaust the same?

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

Thanks guys!

Since all other B15s have been different in fitment between SE-R and non-SE-R models, I'd venture to say that it's safe to say that they're different.

I'll dig around to try to confirm that, but I'm 98% sure.

If you are asking about a base type sentra and comparing to the spec V, I would say no. If comparing the SE-R, then yes. But now that I think about it, the only difference should be the piping diameter. The chasis is still B15, so how much different can the fitment be.

The sizing is not the same, that's for sure. Also the mufflers have dual tips on the SE-R/Spec V (not that that is relevant). I'm assuming the route is the same, because I don't think they changed much under the car... I mean, it's basically the same car body with just a different engine, different interior, and some badges.

The hanger locations are different in previous year B15s (specifically, the SE-R/Spec V has a hanger near the resonator and shorter rear hangers), as Greg and I discovered when he sent me an SE-R exhaust rather than an "other" Sentra exhaust nearly 2 years ago. I assume Nissan continued to have different locations through '06, as a redesign would have been pointless cost-wise.
