Sentra amp

I have a 2005 Sentra SE. A little while ago my two door speakers and the subwoofer that came with the car went out. I got it checked out and they told me it was the amp. Turns out the nissan amp only has 75W. Has anyone had this problem and does anyone know where I can get a amp with about 500W? I don't want to get new wires and I'm trying not to spend over $150 bucks. Any ideas?

Why push out so much power to the stock speakers? They're designed for the 75w amp and won't ever draw anywhere near enough to justify a 500w one. They'd blow even if they could pull that kind of power.

If you're going to upgrade the stereo, upgrade everything.

Hey on the 2008 sentra without the rockford audio package is there an amp anwhere in the car for the speakers? because i want to upgrade my speakers and amp them but there seems to be some protection mode which lowers the volume anyone know how to stop this?

bypass all factory wiring. if there is an amp it will be on the undersideof the trunk deck or under the seats. if there isnt a fosgate system in there your good to fir what ever you want.

Thanks, ya im having it all done professionally. They were going to bypass the factory wiring. but they couldnt tell me if the distortion protection would be eliminated (which i hope it is).
