sensor question

So i have my ca18de almost finished. i need an o2 sensor. is there a special one needed for this engine? or what will work best? and my friend insists there is a radiator sensor needed also. im slightly confused by what hes talking about. is there a needed sensor connected to the radiator that im in need of also?

88 Pulsar NX at your local auto parts store for the O2 sensor

there isn't a "radiator sensor"..
