I'm about to put on my 300zx brake cylinder and I need to know what to do with the fill sensor. I do not have the harness plug and need to know if I should solder wires on the pins to the harness. I think I do not need the sensor at all.

All that sensor does is light up the BRAKE light when fluid is low.

If you check your brake fluid levels regularly, there should be no problem.

yea that's what I figured. Another question, where can I get the fitting that goes inside the ports for the lines.

cut it out from your old mc.

Easy way to do this:

drill a hole on the other side of the old mc where the fitting is located. Then use a lil tap or screwdriver or something and tap it out - this will allow you to have an undamaged fitting.

to put it on to your mc. you should try to find an old brake line w/ nut that you can screw and secure the fitting correctly, otherwise it will leak. The other way to do it is to just tap that fitting into the z32 one.

http://importnut.net/300zxbrakeswap.htmI was reading that a couple of weeks ago. Wouldnt seem like a viable solution since the stock cylinder would be destroyed so I was hoping for something easier. I'll try the air fitting supply store but if they dont carry it, I'll try tapping it out.
