I got my truck with 82k, and I read somewhere? that there are two connectors, 1 for a 50k warning and another for a 100k warning as you describe. I have all new sensors and if any of these two connectors are put back together I will light the lamp. The only thing that I know is to make sure you have good sensors (the warning lamp is for the o2 sensor and the oil pressure sensor/switch ) If any of these are faulty, you will probably notice.

yeah... the light is for 100,000 miles to change the o2 sensor... even with the fresh sensor the light stays on if the wires are connected, so i just left them disconnected... that's literally all they do is tell you that its 100,000k... so.... yeah... its useless

I replaced my oil pressure sensor and to my delight, the sensor light went off! It was leaking oil from the OPS, so it needed to be done. It's easy and might fix the problem. You can find a description of how to change the OPS in the DIY thread if you need to get more info.

Most of us just disconnect the light.

I have a 1985 Non California Model the 2 wires are located above the hand brake under the dash (21I is for 50,000 and 100,000) and (15I is for 30,000). All you have to do is disconnect 21I because your 15I should already be disconnected. I hope this helps
