there is a setting in the fx35 that controls when the lights automatically turn on and off depending on light conditions. Can you tell me if this can be set to come on even during daylight. This would solve my daytime running light problem.

Unfortunately, you cannot set the sensitivity level to automatically turn the headlights on during the day (except for cloudy/rainy occurrences). Your only option for having the headlights to come on during the day is to manually turn the switch to the "ON" position.
