security alarm often goes off for no reason. Is there a sensitivity adjustment? It's a new vehicle, about 300 miles so battery is good.

Welcome to NICO! Is this a third party/aftermarket alarm system? Was it installed by the dealership?

I have a 2015 Rogue, but there is little change between the 2014 and 2015 models. If it's a Nissan factory installed alarm in your 2014 Rogue check in your owner's manual. My 2015 manual states the alarm is NOT a motion detection system so wind/vibration will NOT set it off. It is only activated when someone tries to open the doors, hood, or liftgate. If you have a Nissan installed alarm and it is going off without anyone actually trying to open the door, hood or liftgate, you probably need to take it back to the dealer to have it checked out.

RodB, would help if you can provide more information. How/when would it go off? Is the car parked indoors or outside? Was an impact sensor installed that could be triggering based on wind/motion/vibration?

I had hoped it would be, but people love it. I wanted it to be mentioned.
