I just purchased a low mileage 1996 Maxima GLE V6 from my mom. It only has 13,500 miles. But the accelerator pedal is very sensitive. I barely push it and I am off like a rocket. It is much more touchy than any car I have driven. It is a real strain on my leg and makes the car hard to drive.

Does anyone know how to modify it to slow down the throttle? Is there an aftermarket kit? Thanks for your help.

Welcome to NICO!

You could try adjusting the throttle cable to put a little slack in it, but that's only goin to delay the opening of the throttle, not really make it less sensitive.
