Sending unit

Can anyone tell me which one is the sending unit? The pic is directly over it facing toward the car from the rear.the top one?the bottom? middle top?middle bottom? ^_^

well if u unplug the connector, & see the socket postition like this: xOOOOOX

u can probe an ohmmeter on the bottom terminals & get the following readings:

full~ 4.3-6.3 ohms (15 1/4 gal)1/2~27.7-34.3 (8 3/4)empty~73.3-84.8 (1 7/8)

others should B for the low-fuel warning light

i sux @ reading wiring diagrams + i lost the last page of the huge wiring schematic. but @ least u can trace the plug to the colored wire...

guessing this: X123456

1-top wire to the unit (connecting to ground?)2-bottom wire to the unit (warning lamp)3-???4- to the sender (color is green/yellow?)5-to the sender (color is blue/black?)6-X

can u confirm these? i didn't wanna run outside in the dark to make sure...
