So my old SR20DET threw a Rod. And so I ordered a new one. The guy told me, it had Semi Rocker Arms. I have no clue to what the semi would mean. I know Partical Rocker Arms. But how so? Isn't it you either have rocker arms or not

Semi rocker arms??? Is he referring to the rocker arms in the valve train?

I have no clue what that would be tho... Ive never heard of that. I have heard of rocker arms with roller bearings.

Maybe because the fulcrum is on one end and the valves on the other with the cam on top he calls them that. As opposed to what many people envision when you say "rocker arm" the pushrod type from an old american V8. Maybe you have rocker arms from a Nissan Semi truck?
