of course, the limitation is to see what is happening under hood while taching out. nevertheless, i find it useful to confirm fuel press regulator (mine reads 38 psi at idle, 45 when engine off (no vac) or when blipping the throttle), and leakdown rates.

I like it, but I wonder how to get an in cabin reading without running fuel in there?

exactly. don't want to do that. one-time evaluation could be to run flex hose from my 'port' to a gauge taped to the windshield.another approach would be a pressure transducer plugged into the port on the tee, with the corresponding voltage to a cabin gauge. then a calibration box to convert voltage back to psi.....

Nice... Certainly is nice to be able to look and see what your fuel pressure is. In all reality, you dont need to see it as you rev the car, checking at idle and such should be adequte. NIce clean install!

An electronic fuel pressure gauge would take care of that. It is the digital one to the right.

Auto Meter makes a pressure isolator for precisely this purpose - and doesn't recommend installing their fuel pressure gauges inside the vehicle without it.

That's really nice, but a little difficult to read at WOT.

I'll have to get to Dallas sometime and see your car.

Brian,

I am in Oregon now, near Eugene. I know that you come up to Seattle so if your in the area let me know.

The car is up on jackstands right now awaiting completion of the latest project, which I think you will find interesting. BTW, the electronic fuel gauge has high memory recall so watching it is not too much of a concern.

Regards,

Siju
