Car died on the road. Main belt came off and battery died before I made it home. I temporarily replaced the dead battery with another battery. Inadvertently hooked poistive to negative and negative to positive. Realized the error before starting the car. With Fresh battery I made it home Ok.

Installed a new belt and started the car fine. REalized the windows and accessoroes were not working and that the 7.5 amp fuse under the dash had blown. I replaced the fuse. Now the car is "semi dead".

DAsh lights, blinkers etc. go on but car is dead. Won't turn over. no clicking or anything. Power windows and power seat are also still out.

I drove the car home and started it once so should have nothing to do with the belt but what is the problem. I have checked all the fuses in all the boxes and can't any bad ones.

UPDATE: I seem to have figured out the ignition problem but the power windows, seats, locks, wipers, A/C and horn are still dead. Is there a master fuse or something that I could have blown with the cross polarity battery mistake.?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.ThanksHerman
