Yeah, the only problem with the Freemont is that you *have* to take a cab to the convention center. It is in reasonable walking distance however for anything between Ceaser's and the Riviera.Falkdesigns wrote:Greg, I guess what I meant by follow up as it gets closer was follow up with everyone on here, not the hotel room. Although, we got a room on Freemont last year 2 weeks before SEMA, it was cool, but I'd much prefer to be back on the strip.
does anybody know how to secure credentials? or who to go to?AZhitman wrote:Richard, Michael, Klayton and Rob:
Don't forget to see if you can secure some credentials elsewhere - I will do what I can, but I can't promise I will be able to get access for everyone.
JJ - I think we should be able to find space for you guys.
If you have the means to secure them yourself, visit http://www.sema.org to register. If not, then read through the 1st page of this thread.starscream6 wrote:does anybody know how to secure credentials? or who to go to?
Passing out business cards is not a problem. It's very easy to find yourself in a conversation with a vendor and they actually ask *you* for a business card. I wouldn't just go up to a booth and hand them your card though, I'd talk to them first, establish some type of friendly relationship before handing them your business card.DeatschWerks wrote:Me and my brother will be going to rep DeatschWerks. I think we are staying at the Paris though. But $40 a night... can't beat that.
Anybody know if they let you pass out business cards and/or flyers if you do not have a booth? I read something somewhere about no solicitations... seemed kinda odd, but I guess they need to make money on the booths.
Yea.....but the gamb|ing is better on the North End IMO.EZcheese15 wrote:

And no, the westward ho is mostly old people. All the young hotties are on the south end of the strip. But with a south strip hotel comes higher rates. I think most of us would opt for cheaper hotel and cab riding down to the good end of the strip
