Welcome to the Official SEMA 2010 Picture Thread! As always, it was a fun time. There were more exhibits than last year but fewer spectators so it was easier to get through the crowds and see everything. Lots of companies who didn't show up last year were there, hopefully a good sign of the economy climbing upward and a return to the enthusiasm of previous years. We went to SEMA Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and visited the AAPEX show on Wednesday. I swear we walked 100 miles or more, but it was truly worth it. We scored a lot of freebies at AAPEX, made some new contacts, and visited with old friends. Patrick LeMay, who hosts the Carlisle Performance and Style event every year was there and took us out to dinner (Thanks, Patrick!), we met Rich Biscevic, owner of the NoHotWire/Car and Driver 350Z http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/car-an ... -sale.html. We caught up with Kenny, MaximA32, Jason, rotorimp, Mark, the converted, and Darren, GrilledCheese33. All in all, a fantastic week. Unfortunately, Nissan did not set up a booth again this year. However, there were several companies who used Nissans for their exhibition cars. Here are a few pictures of my favorites and Greg's. The link to the complete photobucket album will be at the end as always (all 457 of them)! Enjoy!

My favorite Nissan. An absolutely gorgeous 370 with HRE wheels.

My favorite car of the whole show. The pics do not do it justice. The car was flawless:

Ken Block's Fiesta

Greg loves the split-bumper Camaros

Pimped out Lincoln. Interior is phenomenal.

Land yacht. The size of (at least) three Roadsters. Ideal dead hooker transport. :gapteeth:

Maverick.

Two '59 Cadillacs. Again, the pictures do not do justice. Greg's favorite was the purple, mine was the yellow. I may play around with these and see if I can improve them and repost. The artist was there and Greg got to meet him. He has been painting cars for over 60 years. Amazingly talented.

Mine and Greg's favorite truck, without question. C10 love. Do Want.

Make sure you check out the entire album. I love to people watch, there are some great candid shots in there. Plus, I didn't want to break NICO by posting everything. :chuckle:

*to give credit where credit is due*
The Koreans are coming out in full force. Hyundai and Kia both pulled out all the stops. They had fantastic booths, good people working them, and the cars looked incredible. The KIA Forte Coupe is HAWT. Would drive. Not being disloyal to Nissan, I still love them. But KIA showed up, in a big way. Hard not to be impressed.

Image

Check out all the leg room. Mark is 6'3". he had room to spare. He could also sit in the back seat with the front seat all the way back.

I guess this means I have to stop being lazy and get some pictures up! Bex and Greg were great tour guides for a newbie. That Kia is ridiculous, I had more leg room up front than I do in my 03 Maxima!

It's not that bad if you plan ahead and set up a roommate. Stay at Circus Circus, eat at McD's or have pizza, bring your own snacks and drinks. You can do it on the cheap. Everyone should go, at least once. Of course once you go, you want to keep going. It was better for me this year because I wasn't stumbling around like a n00b.

I know exactly who you are. You're a broke-a** kid who can't afford to go to SEMA. Why not stay at Circus Circus? We do. And we ate breakfast at Mc Donald's every day AND packed our lunch. You ain't too good to do the same.

It's in the rules: "SEMA n00bs shall carry the CEO's s***."

Actually, in this case, you can carry Bex's stuff. She's gotta take pictures. :)

Also, you called Ken Block's car a "Festiva" to begin with but I fixed'd it for you. :poke:

Dunno, but it's a good move - New Hankook lineup is good stuff. V12 EVO's are SEX. Love 'em.
