jdshift and johnny d, do you guys not know cars at all. how can you confuse an altima coupe vs a g35/350z, you must be really blind. you can even tell the differences from that angle even by looking at the engine bay.

i dont know about you buddy, but that front lip looks sexxy on that car. and it matches perfect with the body lines of the car too. and they really didnt work on a body kit for the car so i dont see the need for side skirts or anything. lets leave that up to nismo, and stillen to make that stuff.

I said 350 gt, or 350z.............but I admitted 350z was incorrect.

ok, now that that is understood...why would you even bring that into a thread about a turbo altima coupe?

I must be missing something here, are we on the same page or what? This thread is about the Altima Coupe in Sema..........yes it is turbo. A pic was shown which was mistaken for a Altima coupe which I thought was a 350GT, or 350Z. I admitted the 350Z was a wrong guess. What are you on about?

Well, smartass, first of all I don't think anyone doubted the car would be done.

Our issues with them were of a much different nature. Seems to me you have a vested interest in their continual attempts to circumvent the commercial posting rules, so perhaps you'd like to step up and counter all the negative press compiled over the past several months....

Or, you could mind your own damn business and let my team do what they're good at.

Make sure to get pics!

BTW, we have no issue with fox but with their association at the time with ZPI. I've met Brian, he's a good guy.

I have zero tolerance for trollage.

im not trolling, i just think it was wrong for you guys to delete previous threads about this build-up. i honestly still dont see why the threads were deleted or moved or whatever happened to them, because they actually did pull through with it.

and im not trying to be a smartass, im simply asking your opinion on this topic. i never mentioned anything about your problems with foxmarketing, and never said anything about anyone doubting the car. read my post that you quoted, its there.

and about being a troll, i think not. very far from a troll, i just read alot more than i post, and im still new to nicoclub.com, but not new to the whole forum thing, so my post count shouldnt reflect my experience or whatever you want to call it..

but yea, thanks for the welcome

the lights sorta look the same because the car was in the shade and the orange isn't standing out as much as it usually does. could you try and photoshop another pic but compare it to a pic of your car in the light? thanks

The key would be to see the back of the car to determine this. Chances are it's actually a modded G37 or a real Skyline.

Two cents,-- Wind

Hey Fool,

Correct, there has been a lot of speculation on the capacity of the CVT to handle 400+hp. No real evidence one way or the other from the forums. No real formal opinions from the designers (as you would expect at this stage of the cars life). At least we now have a target ..... ~450.

One of us is just going to have to try and see what happens ...... Now that the kits are prototyped, it's just a matter of time. If any of the aftermarket companies release a kit, i'm pretty sure they will have an opinion.

I have a crap load more to do on my A/C before I even get close to a turbo kit.

My first response is "too bad". My second response is "We've already explained why to the members here". We should not have to (and won't) rehash every decision we make with every noob on this forum.

Your post came across brash and it was not appreciated. Staff members are not the only ones who took it that way. You claim you were not trying to be a smartass yet that is exactly the way it came across. We've been here before with ZPI trolls and your comments here exactly fit that bill. Maybe you should re-read what you wrote as well and how it seemed to most of us.

Your post was trollish and the same as we have seen before. You seem to _think_ you know what's going on where you obviously don't have a clue. Maybe you should have read a bit more about fox/ZPI here before making comments?

Who are you and where did you come from? Lets not start insulting the staff on decisions for whats best for Nico. audtatious said it perfectly. You have no clue. I suggest reading the previous thread concerning Fox Marketing it might shed some light for you.

I was not confident that it could be done, because of the tight fit of the V6 in the engine compartment. I see they moved the battery and ECU, and that may help with other mods, for those who can't use a turbo. What I didn't see is any info about emissions testing. Will it (can it?) be certified by California, of for 49 states? Or is just an "off road only" modification?

Well.......For most states it would probably be fine as long as it passes emissions and still has all the required "parts". As far as Cali, their regs would probably make it illegal.

In my states, and many others, it will have to pass th OBDII test. If a scanner plugs in, and it gives the right readings, then it will pass. But there have been so many problems with aftermarket headers and the engines with the dual A/F sensors, making a modified engine pass that test is clearly not easy. And if an inspection shop sees "non-stock" equipment, they will look for the exemption sticker. But I don't see any mention that this set-up will or won't have such a sticker.
