I will be posting an add in classifieds, but am looking for some basic advice. We are going to be making a move from east coast to Arizona, and we are somewhat at the point to sell the car, regardless of the move. Here are my questions; Is it better to sell here or there, being that it is all wheel drive? Will it change my resale based on location (who needs all wheel drive in the desert)? I have a Stillen exhaust, and a K&N airfilter, should I go back to factory with them before I sell? Do I benefit anything from going to the dealer? Anybody with thoughts on this? I have purchased a grounding kit for the car, but have not installed, should I before I sell? The car is clean with 63,XXX miles, no problems...

You're on point with going back to stock. Stillen exhaust should and will sell easy on here... K&n maybe leave in car. I think best resale for an "X" is up north where you are. Dealer would probably screw you unless you're a good negotiator...lol! Good luck in Arizona! It's HOT over there...

Your thought to return the car to stock is on point. I agree with The Bodyguard that you should sell the exhaust (if you still have stock one), and keep the K&N in the car.

I am not sure how much of a difference in price you'll get on the E. Coast vs. AZ, but I'd do a quick search on Autotrader and get your NADA & KBB values in each area. NADA and KBB ask you for your zip code in order to give you the best value. You'll always get more money selling your car private party vs. trading it in at the dealership. Remember, it's the dealerships goal to SELL cars not BUY them. So I'd recommend selling it PP first.

I am VERY interested in your ground kit and will buy it from you today, so you don't have to worry about packing it. LOL Hit me up and we'll square away payment via Paypal.

My only advise, be patient! Only few people will be actually interested in buying an Infiniti, that's the truth. I had hard time selling my 06 M35. Now I have Lexus LS, and quite the opposite, cannot tell you how many time i've been asked if I'm welling to sell it!

Return to stock only if those extra few dollars outweigh the hassle. For example, who would buy a used K&N? The exhaust perhaps, but how much would it sell for? And you have to deal with eBay, shipping, etc...

IMHO sell the car where you're at. Unless there are ZERO buyers there, you will burn up cash transporting or driving the car down. Sell it & fly out. Buy your next car in AZ, so that if you stay, the next owner will see on Carfax that it's a west coast car (no rust phobia).
