Sell the FX and get an M45 or keep it?

Whats up everyone.

I purchased an 04 FX35 about 4 years ago that has treated me very well over the years. the car still has low miles, is covered by the extended warranty for a few more months and is in perfect mechanical condition.

Here is my issue.

Over the summer I purchased my wife an 08 M45x and love it. The V8 is fantastic and the interior is a much nicer place to be than my 04 FX (IMO).

I am contemplating selling the FX and purchasing an 06 or 07 m45 sport. Over all i may have to come out of pocket with a couple grand for a m45 with about 60,000 miles. I currently have 74,000 on my FX right now.

what do you guys think, should I make the move or stick with the FX knowing it has been well maintained and should provide plenty of trouble free miles?

I would suggest sticking with your FX for now. Especially since there is an M45 in the family already. Having two different cars gives the both of you a bit of variety if needed. There also could be something else you or your wife will like in a year or two.
I was thinking of getting rid of my car to buy a Mercedes, only because I liked driving my wife's CLK .... I'm glad I thought twice!

I have the same problem, only in reverse. Should I keep my M45 and get a newer FX or stick with what I have. I live in snow country. My final decision for the next year or two was stick with what I have. I own the M and don't want to lay out the cash or finance a new one given these economic times. Best of luck whatever you decide to do.
