Self-sealing bolts for A/T pan.

Hi.I will replace trans pan gasket, but the repair manual told me "Always replace oil pna bolts as they are self-sealing bolts". The problem is some of bolt was replaced when I worked before. I mean those are not original bolt. Some of bolts was bought from Ace Hardware. Is it ok? or Sholud the bolts be bought on OEM parts?Thanks.

You can use/reuse other bolts, just put some thread lock on them.
