When I changed my valve cover gaskets a couple of bolts were seized in the head (the front and rear center bolts in line with the spark plugs). The front bolt came out, but took part of the threads in the block with it. The rear bolt broke. I figure I can use an easy out to get the rear bolt out and replace it. The threads in the front hole are partially intact, but the bolt won't hold tight. Can I re-tap it, or do I just have to live with it? Also, what tap would I need, and is there a part # for the bolts?

you can install a time sert in the hole. this requires drilling the hole larger ,tapping it for the time sert. thread the steel time sert in . now the hole is the original size again

its a kit with a drill bit, tap, insert tool and time sert. you can get them at most part stores. At the dealer we get them from car quest.
