Ok, minus the fried ecu. my rb swap will be ready to run soon. but the swap has drained alot of my money and I really can't afford to have it blow-up/breakdown on me.

What should Should i monitor to make sure it is running correctly to catch any problems early before they get really bad.

I have one friend that says EGT and i have another that says Boost.

I have also read in a couple of threads that It will have trouble keeping cool. i have 2x12" electric fans set up as pushers. which if i remembered correctly should be enough.

but is there anything else i should look out for?

main concern is cooling the motor since there no longer is a mechanical fan keeping it cool.just keep an eye on coolant temps and you should be ok.boostgauges are nice but arnt 'needed' but are good to have to see if the engine is overboosting.
