As you all know, GReddy makes quality built forced induction kits for the 350z/G35 and they should make it for us altima coupe owners too!

They are also coming out soon with the Ti-C exhaust for us coupe owners and would be a good addition to add headers with this sick combo!

So lately I have been talking with GReddy to making another product whether it is Headers or Forced Induction kits for our coupes. I will have another talk about this with him when I am at GReddy(next week) to install my exhaust. So I need peoples interest/numbers, so GReddy can consider making another part for us. I don't guarantee this will happen, but I will do my best. This is just a good way to start and I will update on whats happening. Thanks everyone!

Lets get these votes started!

headers would be great! if you decide to stay NA, headers will help or if vortec makes a supercharger you could still use headers. i've heard a lot about GReddy when it comes to turbo but never heard about superchargers from them. if they make superchargers then headers would work too. i think most people will go for headers (less expensive, gives good power, no strain on the motor).

P.S. i heard that you get heating issues if you don't get ceramic coated headers (just what i heard). so if they do make headers (headers are much easier to make) try and get ceramic coated headers

yea if greddy built a turbo for the CVT then that would give a good amount of people options. BTW, thanks for stealing my Vortech threads thunder haha

Headers would be sweet. However isn't there a problem with headers on 2002 and up Altimas? Also do they void the warranty?

I plan on getting the Greddy exhaust as soon as it comes out, and will jump on the headers as soon as they come out. ( If they come out)

I think its something with the O2 sensor, but I'm not a 100% sure. And as far as the warranty, the same applies as all of the other parts: only if it can be proven that the after market part was the cause of the problem. As for the poll, a complete exhaust for the 2.5L sounds good within one year, and forced induction... a turbo for the 2.5L might sound good a few years down the road for me...

i heard the problem is with the 05-06 3.5. they say the 2.5 has no issues but some say the 05+ V6 has "wide-band sensors" or something like that. so pretty much headers are easy to make and most shops can make them BUT the V6 has some odd sensors that screw you over so if you put headers you have the check engine light come on. i'm sure a company as large as GReddy would be able to solve the check engine light issue....

about the warranty, i've heard mixed responses. some say yes it voids the warranty, some say no it does not, some say that legally your warranty can not be voided unless the malfunction is the end result of modifications....... like if you get headers and later on your rear axle messes up... the 2 have nothing in common and they would have to obey the warranty.... i'm no expert though, just a few things i've heard

awwww Mr. Music beat me to it lol

Yep, should be enough room. It will replace the old one.

Then get on the telephone and do something about it. Sitting around complaining isn't going to do anything.

Oh yea? Weird, half the companies I have landed deals with, we settled everything over the phone before we even met. You cant just say you know people on one online forum haha. You have to sell it to them, embelish some numbers to make them interested. Like with Vortech for example. If they sell even 10 kits, they will make money. So I told them over a spread of 3 major forums, there are 100's of people interested in this kit. As fell as the marketing and backing through major companies such as STILLEN. Yada yada, that kinda thing.

Whats up man, I have the 3.5, and I dont think im going to get the Artisan Performance exhaust although I like it a lot. It sounds incredible homie I promise you. I am going with either the Greddy or the Stillen. I love the look of the Stillen, but just am not sure about the sound. I know the Greddy is going to sound great, but I want to see how it looks (Im sure I will like the way it looks). Although the Artisan performance exhaust is a combination of one of the nastiest, in a good way, sounding exhaust ive heard, and a real good look; I choose the other exhaust because I had my heart set on one of the two when I first bought the car. As far as the headers dilemma, I dont know yet but I had my mechanic read some of the post on the forum, and he says a solution can definately be found. He contacted his custom piping shop to see what they had to say. I have not heard anything more after that. Hope that helped with your decision on exhaust.

Thanks man. I think the Stillen's tone is too low although it looks really nice. I kind of want to hear a Stillen w/o the resonator, it might sound better.

Okay, it seems like this thread is more interested in headers than a forced induction kit for now. We still need more interest(headers), about 10-15 more people to get pass through phase 1 of them considering looking into it.

Also how many would do a presale on the headers? It was something they mentioned to me at GReddy.

I have not looked at the headers on our coupes, but does anyone know if there is a cat in the headers?

I wish I knew, anything to speed the process up for some Greddy headers. I want them bad, but I will find out from my installer tmr when I go to the shop.
