Hello I've been searching the past week on information for a DIY brake job for a 2008 G35X Sport Sedan. I bought the car used and it has a warped rotor so I called my local Infiniti Dealer and they were able to give me part numbers and prices on parts. Total cost of buying the parts from the dealer is $678 after taxes. Never in my life have I ever paid that much to do brakes on my own. Of course they offered me a rotor turn for $269 in lieu of the actual parts, but this won't fix a warped rotor which is why I was just going to replace all four wheels with new pads and rotors. The part numbers which I will list below with the accompanied dealer prices returned no results at any of my local auto parts stores. They either have pads and rotors for G35X or G35 Sport, but not both. If nobody is able to point me to what after market rotors I can use, does anyone know the diameter of the stock rotors? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Front Pads D1060EG51A $90.00 axle
Rear Pads D4060EG50C $78.00 axle
Front Rotor 40206EG000 $120.00 each
Rear Rotor 43206EG000 $113.00 each

I can't say for sure about the 2008, but my 2011 Sport Sedan has larger discs than the G37XS. The reason is the all wheel drive of the XS precludes use of the larger wheels/tires (and therefor brakes) that come with the S. That's one of the reasons I opted for the S. The brake set up on the 2011 Journey, X and XS are the same. Guessing the 2008s might be the same.

Forget the dealer and go to Tire Rack.com where it will allow you to research all of the possibilities for your car, from different mfgs, and at substantially lower prices too.

Thank you sir! I had no idea tire rack sold brake parts as well. I had visited that site many years ago, but I was only looking for tires then. So far it is looking much cheaper than the dealer route!
