Nissan Sport magazine is putting over 200 cars and trucks on the cover of their Fall 2008 issue to celebrate 50 years of Nissan in the US. And they need more representatives. ANY Nissan, Infiniti or Datsun sold in the US is eligible (stock or modified doesn't matter). To enter, send an e-mail to [email protected] and include 1-3 jpegs, year and model of your vehicle, along with your full name and city/state.

To see the new cover in draft format (70 vehicles have been submitted so far, over 150 slots are still open), check out http://www.nissansportmag.com. They will be updating the cover on a regular basis as entries are received. As a partner website of Nissan Sport, NICOclub.com and its members have an opportunity to go down in history in what will be the magazine’s most important issue to date. Additionally, a lucky few may be chosen to represent their model in Nissan Sport’s all-time top 10 list of sports cars, sedans, and trucks. Good luck, everyone.

Jose, can you make it to Autobacs on Saturday? I wanna see you car up close... I must admit, I wasn';t feeling that red front grill at all..... until I saw the redout taillight overlays

Now if you just get rid of that amber, your car would be M.J.G. (that's pimp tight for those of you that aren't familiar with the dirty)

Oh yeah, I got a response back from the managing editor of the magazine... he said he's definately gonna put me on the cover .. these are the pics I sent...

preciate that fam ... not everyone likes chrome wheels, but I think, with the right setup, they can still be classy, even 20's... of course that's just my opinion... but I love em

I need around $700 so I can get that done, so I'm trying to save up.

Getting a root canal done on Friday so it all depends on how my mouth feels but I definitely want to go. Your car is looking good doc, I'm not much for an all chrome wheel but I really like yours.

doc i think if you removed that headlight overlay and got rid of the orange reflector in the headlight, it'd look a lot better. I feel like the flat black is too much of a contrast against the clean silver color of the body...

The overlays have , from the beginning, been an attempt to get rid of the amber... that's why I didn't paint them, they are indefinately temporary until something better comes along (like the new projector retrofit that I will definately be getting)

The matte black was chosen because its such a contrast... matte black front splitter, matte black factory rear undercarriage appendage, matte black taillight overlays... and then matte black headlight overlays... notice the theme.... I understand you are trying to be constructive, but everything on my car is exactly the way I wanted it... you probably would have done something different (like what you suggested) and that's cool... no arguments on my end

Yea I really wanted to submit some pics, but my parts are still in the mail. I would of felt pretty dumb submitting a stock car. If I happen to get my pics soon enough and get them on, then I will submit some pics.
