Has anyone had any experience with Nexen, Essenza, Nankang or Ventus tires?

The NEXEN is made by a company called YKS, and a lot of the nankang and wanli designs are under law auit by various manufactureres for stealing tread design molds, etc.

THe Ventus is at least a "brand" name, and seem to perform well..go with that, or maybe a NItto or entry level Yokohama

Agreed. For the money, you can grab some Nittos, Coopers, or maybe even some Conti's.

out of that bunch go with the coopers for sure. probably the cheapest tire i could reccomend would be somthing from sumitomo.
