Last few days, i noticed few weird problems on my '06 M35X: 37k mile...

1. Every time i stop at red light, heat blows cold air... even at top setting, it blows cold air... when i start driving, then it blows hot air... so i left car in idle for about 5min... nothing but cold air in every mode... a/c on and off, vent open and closed... so on.

2. When i start the car in the morning, i hear water running sound.... very weird... lately, i hear this water sound when i make a stop for more then few seconds... and driving at low speed.

3. when i press the gas hard (i do this alot =P) i hear something kind of thin metal vibrating... it annoys the hell out of me...but still can't find what it is.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------so anyone else had similar problems? I'm planning to take the car to dealer very soon but i'm having very hard time choosing a good dealer. i live in northern NJ and i had horrible experience from Infiniti of Englewood. And few people told me don't even bother with Infitini of Manhattan (i work in NYC...location is very convenient for me). Anybody lives NJ/NY area who had good service done from a dealer?

thanks in advanceoh and happy new years all ^^y

I have an '06 M35 sport and am having the exact same heater problem you described. I've taken it to the dealer twice, but they claim the heat temp is within normal specs. I disagree because at times it is so cold it feels like the AC is on. They admitted to having an '08 M35 in the shop for the same problem.

I'm from Georgia and we recently had some extremely wet weather. During this time, I had condensation build up on the front windshield after the car had been parked in the shade for about 4 hours. Don't know if this could be related to the heater problem? Perhaps there are some valves or holes somewhere allowing moisture or cold air inside the car??

I have the same issue and my tech said that it could be an air pocket in the circulation system.

I'm having the car in the shop Wednesday for fixing the issue.

I also have the water running sound issue? It's been hard to identify that...I have NO clue what it could be? AC refrigerant?

I'll let you know what they did to fix the issue. I'm driving with the tech so I can show him what I'm talking about.
