ses light but no code

I've now tried 2 different obd2 scanners and both can't pull codes from the ECU. I've been able to use one of then to pull codes in the past so I know one should have work but still nothing. Besides going to the stealership, what else can I try?

If your using a quality scanner it should be able to read the code.

Autozone reads the codes for free, go try there scanner before the dealership charges you to use theres

Does your power outlet below the radio work? If not, then its fuse is probably dead. On some vehicles the OBDII diagnostic port is on the same circuit as the power sockets.

Yes it works. I had my dash can plugged into it.

After finding another scanner I finally got a code p0171. I'm going to clean the maf and check for leaks tommorow.

I cleaned the maf which didn't get rid of the problem so I bought a new 01 maxima maf and just drove 1000km and the ses light hasn't come back.
