That seems a little backwards as these grills are going to fly off the selves once released. I'm sure they will sell some sedan rockers too but I'd be willing to bet the demand isn't as high as the grills...

Btw....I haven't been on here as much lately but I'm wondering why Josh or Kyle won't speak to this? Where they at?
Eh Im not really at liberty to say why the grill is taking longer, however, it is going to be harder to create than originally anticipated. With the grill built the way it is, to custom fit a piece, remove the mustache, and have it all look clean at the end is going to take a high amount of R&D because of its obscured dimensions. Its easier to roll from the sedan fascia to the sedan rockers because they still have that track of mind. As for Kyle and Josh. They have been really busy lately with the magazine, Stillen day, the G37, the Altima Sedan, and the new vehicle Stillen will be acquiring soon. So much came out for the A/C in such a small amount of time we were spoiled. Its actually bad for business to come out with everything all at once and ignore the rest of the models, but they did it for us because they care

Blake isn't at liberty...so I'll say it...haha

The altima coupe and sedan have two completely different grills. The sedan uses a solid surround while the coupe has a two part grill. On the coupe the surround is molded into the bumper from the sides to the top. The only seperate piece is the bottom lip which internally has some strange angles. It is going to be pretty difficult to make a grill insert that will allow for a clean installation with flawless looks when it's completed.

The sedan is a lot easier as it is all one piece and "should" be a simple replacement of the entire insert/surround.

We know that there is a huge interest for this so we have not given up on the project but it will not be easy to make.

the grill on the sedan makes it look sooooooooooo much better! i know there is no grill like that for the stock replacement on the coupes BUT if i were to purchase the whole front from you guys, is there anyway i could get the sedan's grill instead of the coupe's grill (mesh instead of bars going across)..... well, that is if it would fit. the hood on the sedan and coupe are the same and grill has to measure up with the indentations of the hood so would the grills be interchangeable?

The top part of the fascia itself is made from one complete mold. They cannot control the mold after its set, so the chances of you getting a fascia that doesn't have the bars is zilch. However, You can cut out the bars yourself. File down the cutting points to evenly match the sides, then paint it. At that point you can leave it open or install mesh behind it, its your call

oh. lol i thought it was two pieces.... ya i might end up doing that. only thing i'm scared about is that if you look at these pics of the sedan, you can see how the whole goes in and i'm not sure i could get it exactly like that.

see the depth in the pic, thats kind of what i was talking about. could i get it to look like that if i did what you're talking about?
