Sedan Spoiler

I tried to search for this but did not find anything. Sorry if I missed it.

I love the spoiler in the 03-05 G35 coupe. But I have a sedan and was wondering if I could buy a spoiler for a coupe and mod it to work? I have not seen the spoiler up close so forgive me if this is a silly question. I understand I would need to tie the brake light in from the spoiler as the sedan didn't come with the brake light wiring, I would assume.

Or does the sedan come with the same spoiler as the coupe and I have not noticed?

As far as I know they are not the same spoiler, but the stock spoilers still are fairly similar. The coupe's appears to be slightly lower and hangs out a bit further from the rear of the car (although that could just be due to the slope of the bodywork I suppose)

I have an 04 sedan with a spoiler and find it very tasteful, I would think that if you like the style of the coupe spoiler the stock one for the sedan would also fit your preferred style.

If your car didn't come with a spoiler you would need to wire it either way to get the light to work and the risk of messing up a spoiler to get it to fit nicely would be enough of a deterrent for me.

Thanks Lars, I just seen a coupe drive by me today and your right they are different but the trunk is shaped the same so something tells me it will still work. Does anyone know if this has been done before I REALLY like the look of the coup spoiler and not a fan of the sedan one.
