how i envy HID projectors. is it hard retrofitting projectors in a/c headlights?

a friend of mine did mine in my frontier but it was hard since theres toooo much space to work with in the headlight assembly

That looks great brandon. I like the larger Angel eyes. But can the larger angel eyes fit in the gattling gun shrouds?

I am also intrested in the angel eye behind the shroud instead of in front of it. Is this still possible with the bigger angel eyes or does it just depend on the size of the projector?

Brandon, with your install, did you retain the ability to adjust the headlight with the OEM adjustment screws or were the projectors aimed and set in place? If you did, would you mind telling me how to remove the reflector from the housing...

I am preparing to install a pair of TSX but wish to do so while retaining the OEM headlight adjustment.

Thanks-joel

Bina glad everything got there ok and your happy with them so far, cant wait to see them installed.

in terms of the retrofit, all of the ones i do use the factory levelers. basically once i mount the projector inside the housing i make small adjustment with individual screws/springs that hold the projector to the bowl. basically side to side and height so its not aimed at the ground. then the factory adjuster is used for up and down. no matter where its aimed your probably going to get highbeamed by older cars with halogens, my factory hids i was getting highbeamed. to take the housing out of the light once you have the glass off, unscrew the adjuster so the bowl is aimed right down and until it wont turn anymore. pull the outside of the bowl where the highbeam is out and towards you to pop the first clip. then where the adjuster is use a long screwdriver (flat) and push it into the plastic clip where the hinges are on it and pull the housing out. then the side one just bend the housing to the side and it will pop off and thats it. also the piece that screws into the glass sometimes needs to be modified or else the projector will hit it

there was a small issue with the driver side angel eye, so i have to send that light back to brandon, but i can assure you it was not brandons fault. look at the pics above.....theyre of the driver side light with the angel eye working perfectly. when i got it the angel eye was flickering and wasnt lit up all the way. it seems like the wire connected to the angel eye got jostled lose somehow (im blaming USPS or the Canadian Post or maybe it was just a bad angel eye), because when i moved the one wire that was connected to the angel eye, it would act up. Besides that everything worked and looked perfect. i was disappointed when i saw the messed up angel eye because i put the passenger side light on first and had to take everything back off to put the stock headlights back on.

Once again....THIS IS NOT BRANDONS FAULT

maybe brandonbeeb can take and post a picture of the lights working to clear up any question. maybe along with today's newspaper to prove that it's not an old pic

he has to open the light the fix one of the LEDs that sits too low anyways. when you look at it from straight on, with the LEDs on, it looks like the one isnt on, so i dunno why he just doesnt replace the angel eye to ease my worries while he has the light apart, because if i get this light back and the angel eye doesnt work again, im going to be quite mad. its been almost 4 months since i sent him my lights.
